I upgraded my studio with this and it was a good move…
I recently got studio monitors (Kali LP-6 white) to improve the quality of my mixes. Besides the fact that they look just awesome, I first was in trouble after setting them up. They truly showed how my mixes worked and that was – bad news – a little cruel for me, since all my older stuff did not sound very good. Obviously mixing only using headphones is not the best idea. Anyway, the good news is that I can now see a great improvement of my mixes after being able to really hear more what is going on. There is definitively still a long way to go but this was an important step. I hope you can also hear the change in my future releases.
